Local pet groomer raises funds for Augusta restaurant owner after heart surgery

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – D’Tails Pet Grooming held $20 dog nail trims Saturday to raise money for Jason Parrish, the owner of Mosh Pit Eats, as he recovers from quadruple bypass surgery.

Lisa, the kennel manager at D’Tails, said the event was meant to ease some of the financial burden on the Parrish family during his recovery.

“Anything that we can do, and I mean, I know it sounds something silly as a dog nail trim, but that money will go straight to them, and it will help their business,” Lisa said. “We hope something that little will help their business stay afloat.”…
