WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the person who assaulted and struck two people with a tree branch in Northwest.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), on Wed. Jul. 22 at 2:15 p.m., a victim and the suspect were arguing in the 1300 block of V Street, N.
The argument escalated with the suspect striking them and another person with a tree branch. MPD shared a photo of the suspect and surveillance footage of the incident.

Police said the two victims fled to their homes and called police; however, the suspect ran off before officers arrived.
