Strong storms, flash flooding possible across Pennsylvania

Parts of central Pennsylvania are under a flood watch with a hazardous weather outlook issued throughout the most of region for Sunday.

The National Weather Service in State College said that isolated strong storms capable of producing damaging wind gusts are possible into the afternoon and evening.

A flood watch is in effect until 2 a.m. in the counties along and west of I-99. Multiple rounds of heavy showers could bring flash flooding. More than an inch of rain is expected in State College and closer to two inches in Altoona…
