MYRTLE BEACH S.C. (WPDE) — Myrtle Beach City Council has approved the first land purchase through the city’s Workforce Housing Fund.
Council voted to spend $480,000 to buy property on Third Avenue North for a planned workforce housing development.
The roughly one-acre site is expected to include 16 permanent affordable condominium units for Horry County residents earning 80%-120% of the area’s median income, including teachers, first responders, nurses and hospitality workers…
