LUBBOCK, Texas — As of Sunday, August 2, the Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit is investigating the 300 block of I-27 after the driver of a single-vehicle collision suffered a gunshot wound.
According to Lubbock Police officials, officers responded to a report of a collision with injuries involving a passenger car at 3:02 a.m. Officers then located the driver, who was located with a gunshot wound, suffered serious injuries, and a passenger suffered minor injuries.
