A man accused of trafficking more than 48 pounds of fentanyl across Eastern North Carolina will spend 15 1/2 years in federal prison.
Keavin Jawahn Thompson, 42, pleaded guilty Jan. 29 to conspiracy to distribute 400 grams of fentanyl and possession with intent to distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl and 100 grams or more of para-fluorofentanyl.
