STOCKBRIDGE — The Stockbridge City Council recently voted to name a ballroom at the Merle Manders Conference Center in honor of Cie Cie McGhee, the city’s former events manager who died in July 2024 and is credited with helping shape Stockbridge’s entertainment and cultural programming.
On July 28, the Council voted unanimously to name the space the Cie Cie Wilson McGhee Ballroom. The recognition came on what would have been McGee’s birthday.
