AT&T, the United Way of West Alabama, and Compudot combined forces to create a bridge over the information gap for 100 families in West Alabama, giving out refurbished laptop computers to those who qualified during a July 30 event at the United Way office in Tuscaloosa.
Brittany Bates was one of the people who benefited from the distribution.
