Long before they wrote and directed the horror-satire masala movie Namaslay, brothers Rish and Kanish were just two actors in Hollywood, turning up at auditions that stereotyped the South Asian experience in roles the brothers call “lackluster” and “downright insulting.”
It was in these casting rooms that they forged their “iron will” to take control of their own stories.
