Commuters heading to Nissan operations may gain a government-approved road connecting the automaker’s Smyrna factory to the Franklin headquarters.
Officials such as elected Smyrna Town Councilman Steve Sullivan have learned the “Rocky Fork Road to McEwen Drive Corridor” project won backing from Greater Nashville Regional Council (GNRC) Transportation Policy Board, comprised of multiple area mayors, to obtain tax dollar funding.
