WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (WFLA) — A child died Monday afternoon after a drowning was reported at a Winter Haven apartment complex, the police department confirmed.
‘Profound loss’: Florida communications officer killed in murder-suicide, officials say
Reports of a potential drowning at the Haven at Deer Lake complex first came in at around 4:30 p.m. on August 3.
Just before 6 p.m., WHPD said officers were working a “pediatric drowning” and later confirmed to News Channel 8 that the child had died.
