KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A Knoxville man is facing several charges after he allegedly led officers on a foot chase late Sunday night.
According to the Knoxville Police Department, officers saw 32-year-old Jermaine Patterson sitting in a car in a parking lot on East Hill Avenue at around 10:45 p.m. KPD said he was wanted for questioning in connection to a domestic assault that happened earlier in the day.
While officers were speaking with Patterson, KPD said they spotted a “large bag” of suspected marijuana in the car. When officers tried to detain him, he ran from the car, leading officers on a brief foot chase before being taken into custody…
