WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police and first responders have shut down Georgia Avenue NW following a shooting late Monday morning.
Details are limited; however, police were investigating a shooting in the 7400 block of Georgia Avenue NW. Police told DC News Now that officers were called to the area just minutes before noon. Once on the scene, police located two men who had been shot.
Firefighter hospitalized after being rescued from Arlington house fire
Medics took both victims to the hospital. Their conditions are currently unknown.
As of Monday afternoon, Georgia Avenue was closed until further notice, and all traffic in the 7300 through the 7600 block of Georgia Avenue is being diverted…
