Man whose murder conviction was overturned pleads guilty in 2010 Youngsville killing of pizza driver

A man convicted in 2017 by a split jury for the murder of a pizza delivery driver in Youngsville will not stand trial a second time.

Aaron Richards, 50, accepted a plea deal Monday, pleading guilty to manslaughter and armed robbery in the March 29, 2010, stabbing death of pizza delivery driver Timothy Falgout.

Falgout, who was described as a deeply religious man, was stabbed five times while delivering pizza to a residence in the 300 block of Rue Canard off Chemin Metairie Road in the Youngsville area. A resident of the home found Falgout after noticing his vehilce in her driveway…
