SAN ANTONIO – Police say two girls, ages 10 and 13, were recovered in Houston after investigators alleged they were taken from their home without their mother’s consent and transported out of Bexar County.
According to an arrest-warrant affidavit from a detective in the San Antonio Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit, 48-year-old Pedro Javier Alvarez Castillo and 24-year-old Dary Ayvan Palacio Alvarez, a Honduran national, have both been charged with the kidnapping of 10-year-old Fidely and 13-year-old Neidy Alvarez Mauricio.
The affidavit says that on Aug. 1, 2026, the girls’ mother reported that her 10-year-old daughter left the family’s home through a window and got into a vehicle with a suspect, who then took the child to Houston without the mother’s consent…
