Ransburg rallies to win 4th FWGA City Championship

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Rory Ransburg continues to cement himself as one of the best golfers of northeast Indiana.

The former East Noble High School and University of Indianapolis standout dialed in with a strong third round on Monday to win his fourth Fort Wayne Golf Association (FWGA) City Championship in six years. Ransburg shot 2-under on Monday, drilling six birdies in the back nine to win the City Championship by one stroke over Garrett High School grad Carter Demske.

With Ransburg tied with Demske heading into the 18th hole, the veteran golfer buried a birdie putt to avoid a playoff and clinch Summit City supremacy once again…
