‘I’m not joking’: Newspaper delivery driver spots 4-foot alligator roaming Jeffersonville streets

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WAVE) – A southern Indiana newspaper delivery driver had a highly unusual excuse for running behind on his route early Sunday morning: a four-foot alligator blocking his path.

Larry Bishop, a carrier for the Courier-Journal, was on his way to work when he spotted the reptile strolling along a Jeffersonville street.

Bishop immediately called police to safely capture and remove the alligator, but first, he had to break the news to his boss…
