The New Castle County, Newark, Dover, and Smyrna police departments are among law enforcement agencies across the state and the nation that will be hosting National Night Out events Tuesday evening, August 4, 2026.
Newark Police will hold their night out event on Academy Street between Main Street and Delaware Avenue in front of Aetna Fire Company station 9 from 6 to 8 p.m.
