BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Louisiana State Police is investigating a multi-vehicle crash in Zachary that killed one person.
According to police, on Monday morning, troopers were called to Louisiana Highway 67, locally known as Plank Road, about a crash.
The investigation revealed that a Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Dakota Harvard, 33, of Slaughter, was headed north on LA 67. At the same time, a dump truck towing a sand-filled trailer was headed south on LA 67. For unknown reasons, the Silverado crossed the centerline, striking the rear axle of the trailer…
