(KRON) — Residents of San Bruno are being advised to monitor their financial accounts as the U.S. Postal Inspection Service investigates a burglary that occurred at the post office, according to police.
“If you recently visited the San Bruno Post Office or deposited mail into a collection box serviced by that office—including collection boxes in the South San Francisco area—your mail may have been affected,” the San Bruno Police Department wrote in a social media post Tuesday. “Residents are encouraged to monitor their bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other financial statements for any unauthorized activity.”
