Three proposed class action lawsuits have been filed against a Spring-based private ambulance company over an alleged data breach that occurred in July.
City Ambulance Service, a two-decade old business operated by Viking Enterprises Inc., is facing accusations in Harris County court that it failed to protect patients’ and employees’ private health information from exposure to cybercriminals. The plaintiffs in the three proposed class action lawsuits, filed within days of one another, include three patients and an employee of the company.
