Summer Celebration is coming up at McMillen Park on Aug. 8 from noon-8 p.m.
This event, sponsored by the Surack Family Foundation and hosted by The Center for the Research on the Status of African American Males, is a celebration of summer as well as a Community Expo designed to highlight the best of what Fort Wayne has to offer.
Also featured will be ’70s radio mainstays Rose Royce who will provide entertainment for the evening, belting out hits “I Wanna Get Next to You,” “I’m Going Down,” “Wishing on a Star,” “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore,” and, of course, “Car Wash.”…
