A driver in North Carolina gave road rage a whole new meaning as he threatened a woman’s life while her child was in the vehicle. In a video posted on Instagram, the woman detailed the events that led up to the point when she started recording the man. She stated that she had been driving on the highway with her 3-year-old when a man driving recklessly slammed his brakes unexpectedly when he got in front of them, despite her attempt to avoid him. In the clip, the man sped up to catch up with the woman; when he got beside her, he screamed angrily: “You’re gonna die!! I can kill you.”

The woman’s child, oblivious of what was happening, imitated the man’s screams. The woman added in the caption that she had reached out to the Greensboro Police Department as she was scared for her life, telling them that she had video proof and the man’s license plate number. However, after waiting for a while, she called back, and they told her that there was nothing they could do since the officers did not witness the incident themselves and there were no fatalities.
