Illegal dumping has become a serious challenge for many cities, but one Bay Area community is facing growing concerns over whether its current cleanup efforts are making a real difference.
A recent report from The Oaklandside, supported by a detailed city audit, found that millions of dollars are being spent each year removing illegally dumped waste, yet the problem continues to spread instead of improving.
