Victims’ Family Speaks Out at Sentencing for Wrong-Way DUI Driver

The family of a woman killed two years ago in a crash caused by a wrong-way drunken driver told a Santa Barbara County Superior Court judge in Santa Maria that their grief from the loss of the wife, mother and grandmother “follows us every single day.”

The victim impact statements were delivered Tuesday during the sentencing hearing for Kendra Cordova, 36, weeks after she pleaded guilty to second-degree murder before Judge Stephen Dunkle.
