EL PASO, TEXAS — A strong gas odor was reported in parts of central El Paso Tuesday night. According to a social media post from City Representative Josh Acevedo, it was traced to the Marathon Petroleum refinery.
Marathon Petroleum confirmed to Acevedo that trained professionals at its El Paso refinery identified the source and are working to address the situation.
