A bicyclist was fatally struck Wednesday morning by a Jeep switching lanes in Clermont.
A 42-year-old man from Kissimmee was driving a 2020 Jeep Wrangler westbound on U.S. Hwy. 192 in Clermont around 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol.
As the vehicle approached Town Center Boulevard, a male bicyclist was traveling eastbound on the highway in the westbound bicycle lane. The front of the vehicle then struck the front of the bicycle while trying to get into the right turn lane, the report said…
