OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A former Boys Town employee appeared in court Wednesday on two counts of felony child abuse without injury.
A judge set bond for Margo Hoos, 40, at $75,000 on Wednesday after she was booked into Douglas County Corrections on Tuesday.
Each charge Hoos faces carries a maximum penalty of three years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.
Hoos previously worked at Boys Town as an assistant family teacher. Boys Town’s internal investigation resulted in the termination of Hoos and Jeffrey Everett, who worked as a family teacher at Boys Town for 25 years, and his wife, Jenni Everett.
Bond for Jeffrey Everett was set at $25,000, with 10% required. Jenni Everett’s bond was set at $50,000…
