A Crime Stoppers tip led to the arrest of a 38-year-old Hackensack man after police said they found drugs packaged for street sales and four caged dogs without food or water inside his apartment.
Members of the Hackensack Police Department’s Crime Suppression Bureau, with assistance from the Emergency Services Unit, executed a Bergen County Superior Court-authorized search warrant at Ramarr Pannell-Bishop’s Second Street apartment on Monday, Aug. 3, according to Police Chief Michael Antista. The apartment is across from Carver Park and near public housing, police said.
Police said they seized a digital scale, drug paraphernalia used to distribute narcotics, oxycodone, ecstasy, Xanax, promethazine, Adderall, and marijuana packaged for street-level sales.
