Toledo police pulling officers from some TPS high schools this fall due to limited resources

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Toledo police will remove two officers from some Toledo Public Schools high schools this fall, reassigning them to patrol due to limited resources, according to Toledo police.

The change means only Start, Scott and Woodward high schools will have Toledo Police Department resource officers in the buildings. TPS currently pays half of each resource officers’ salary during the school year.
