A 19-year-old is dead after being shot in his vehicle during a robbery in Houston’s southside, according to the Houston Police Department.
HPD says that officers responded to the shooting in the 3500 block of Corder Street at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle in a ditch, where the victim, identified as 19-year-old Jose Acosta, and his 15-year-old brother were inside.
Police say that the 19-year-old sustained a gunshot wound and was later taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Tuesday. The victim’s brother was not injured, according to police…
