St. Louis bus driver gets 15 years in child exploitation case

A St. Louis bus driver has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for traveling across state lines to engage in illegal sexual conduct with a 12-year-old girl from Michigan.

U.S. District Judge Maria A. Lanahan imposed the sentence Wednesday on Harold Paul White, 56. White previously admitted that after meeting the juvenile through social media in 2023, he drove from Missouri to Michigan, picked up the child, and returned with her to his apartment in St. Louis.

According to court records, White engaged in illegal sexual acts with the juvenile while she was at his apartment and used a cellphone to record the abuse. After the child discovered she had been reported missing, White purchased a bus ticket for her to return home…
