AVONDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A deadly crash has partially closed a major West Valley freeway in the midst of rush hour traffic Thursday morning.
Shortly after 5:30 a.m., multiple cars collided on the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near Fairway Drive in Avondale. Details remain limited at this time, but the Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers confirmed one person died.
