ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – An Anchorage man was sentenced Wednesday to six months in jail and five years of probation after placing tracking devices on coworkers’ vehicles and engaging in a pattern of stalking behavior against multiple women.
Dustin Madden pleaded guilty at the hearing. More than half a dozen of his coworkers gave victim impact statements describing how his conduct affected their lives.
“What is hardest for me is what this has done for my sense of safety as a parent,” said Crystal Redding, one of the victims who spoke at Wednesday’s hearing. “Mr. Madden didn’t just track me. He tracked my daughter. He tracked her to her summer camps and drop off and pick up. My daughter is a child, and he knew her schedule. A stranger with 14 tracking devices.”…
