Navy-owned bridge will cause another weekend road closure in Hampden Township

East Trindle Road will close for two days next weekend as contractors paint a Navy-owned bridge in Hampden Township.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced the road, also known as Route 641, will close from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day on Saturday, Aug. 15, and Sunday, Aug. 16, weather permitting. The closure affects the bridge that spans the road on the east side of the intersection with Trudy Circle.

Motorists will be directed to use Sheely Lane, Simpson Ferry Road and St. Johns Church Road as a detour. Traffic from Trudy Circle to East Trindle Road will be limited to left turns only during the work…
