WEST HARTFORD — A Georgia man has been arrested for fraudulently posing as a bank employee in order to swindle a local business out of $50,000 more than a year ago, police said.
Junior Astre, 41, of Loganville, was charged with first-degree identity theft, second-degree money laundering, first-degree larceny, criminal impersonation and second-degree telephone fraud, according to West Hartford police Capt. Aaron Vafiades.
