“We’re going to go back to a different part of our history and sort of explore this family and how they kind of got woven into some really interesting parts of our history,” said Kent.
“Harry Pitts was born in Russia in 1884. There is a lot of persecution, oppression, and poverty going on, and so he decides to chase the American dream. So, he and his wife, Clara, marry and move to Deadwood, South Dakota, in 1916. They’re starting a family, the starts a trade as a salvage man.”…
