Skilled-trades training available for eligible Battle Creek residents

Kellogg Community College is accepting applications for free forklift and electrical training programs designed for Battle Creek residents seeking careers in manufacturing and skilled trades.

The programs, scheduled to begin Oct. 12 at the Regional Manufacturing Technology Center, 405 Hill Brady Road in Battle Creek, are available through KCC’s STEP UP initiative for eligible residents at no cost, according to a community announcement.
