Fire crews are battling a fast-moving brush fire in Gorman near the Los Angeles County-Kern County line, triggering evacuation orders and warnings for some residents and a freeway closure.
The estimated 100-acre Ridge Fire is burning on W. Gorman Post Road, according to the L.A. County Fire Department. It was first reported just after 3 p.m. Friday.
