A gang member pleaded guilty to a racketeering charge Friday, admitting to participating in a shooting that left two men dead in Lynn, Massachusetts, according to federal prosecutors.
The shooting on Essex Street on Sept. 2, 2023, killed 21-year-old Jandriel Heredia and 25-year-old Abraham Diaz. Five other people were injured.
The office of Massachusetts U.S. Attorney Leah Foley said Friday that 27-year-old Kelvin Liranzo Roman, also known as Whoopty, had pleaded guilty to conspiracy to conduct enterprise affairs through a pattern of racketeering activity.
