CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW)- Albemarle County Police have charged 18-year-old Jaqaruis R. Michie of Charlottesville with attempted malicious wounding, gang participation, and use of a firearm in commission of a felony stemming from in incident last month.
The three charges are in connection with a June 17 incident in the 2400 block of Peyton Drive. At 12:45 a.m., officers responded to shots fired reports and found shell casings and property damage. No one was injured in the incident.
Michie is currently incarcerated at Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail on different charges unrelated to the Peyton Drive incident…
