Daimler Truck North America is searching for a location for a new manufacturing plant in the Carolinas, with the company saying it hopes to break ground on the facility later this year.
The company has not yet announced where the new plant will be located. Daimler Truck currently operates plants in Gastonia, Mount Holly and Cleveland, North Carolina, along with an administrative office in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
