PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A Comstock Park staple is finally serving ice cream again after renovations kept it closed for months on end.
Dairy De-lite, a walk-up shop on West River Drive NE near Lamoreaux Drive NE, has been in the community for decades. Typically, the shop would start serving ice cream in mid-April — but this year, there were some unexpected challenges that stopped it from opening.

“We had a pipe burst over the winter, which was definitely unforeseen,” owner Travis Snook told News 8.
