Louisville Man Arrested for Stalking and Tracking Ex-Girlfriend, Shooting at Windshield with Paintball Gun

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A Louisville man is facing multiple charges related to repeated violations of an interpersonal protective order (IPO), placing a tracking device on his ex-girlfriend’s car, and shooting a paintball at her windshield while she was driving.

Daren L. Moore, 36, was arrested on Wednesday, August 5. He has been charged with:

  • First-Degree Stalking (Class D Felony)
  • First-Degree Wanton Endangerment (Class D Felony)
  • Intentional Unlawful Use of a Tracking Device (Class A Misdemeanor)
  • Violation of an Interpersonal Protective Order (Class A Misdemeanor)
  • Distribution of Sexually Explicit Images Without Consent (Class A Misdemeanor)

According to court documents Moore’s ex had been granted an active IPO on June 24, which prohibited him from contacting her or coming within 500 feet of her.
