The Rialto Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured a 15-year-old boy in the parking lot of a shopping center on Thursday.
At approximately 4:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the shopping center parking lot located at 211 W. Baseline Road following reports of a shooting.
Responding officers found a 15-year-old victim suffering from a single gunshot wound to the back. He was conscious and breathing, police said.
