Finger Lakes Region sees rise in automated license plate readers

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The data behind the car you drive is more detectable as automated license plate readers continue to show up around the Finger Lakes Region.

With a quick search, drivers can identify where their vehicles might be getting tracked. According to De-Flock Maps, there are over 200 of them installed across the region.
