Jury finds Hillsborough County man guilty of starving his dog to death

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Hillsborough County man has been convicted of animal cruelty after authorities said he starved his Doberman Pinscher “Tiny” to death.

Noriega Thompson Jr., 28, who was out on bond, was immediately taken into custody on Friday after a jury returned a guilty verdict, according to the State Attorney’s Office for the 13th Judicial Circuit.
