AUSTIN (KXAN) — In the last week, residents who live near Riverside Drive and Interstate 35 caught multiple crashes on camera in the construction zone. Enough that they reached out to KXAN to see if we could help them get some answers.
“I drive on this road every day and the traffic seems to get worse and worse,” said Joshua Smith.
“Oh my god, it’s so bad. It’s like almost every day at this point. I believe on like Saturday, there were three crashes. Sunday, there was one. Another yesterday. It’s a problem,” said Diana Zamora.
Residents living at the apartments at the northeast corner witnessed multiple crashes over the weekend of Aug. 1-3, capturing photos and videos of at least five, which was enough to reach out to officials…
