HELL, MI — The unofficial mayors of Hell – as in the Livingston County hamlet – have already hosted weddings and funerals. A pirate band has even serenaded them.
Evelyn and Adam Eberline’s family are now in charge of the popular tourist destination, stocking new merchandise at its main store, starting minor repairs and dreaming up quirky ideas for the hamlet northwest of Ann Arbor.
The couple and their three children, who live about a half hour away in Brighton, are the family that bought a portion of in the small, unincorporated hamlet of Hell, off Patterson Lake Road in Putnam Township, near Pinckney…
