Baltimore Broils at 94 Degrees as Afternoon Storms Threaten Damaging Winds

Baltimore is waking up to sticky air Saturday before temperatures climb toward 94 degrees, with the heat index reaching around 100.

The morning should stay mostly sunny, but showers and thunderstorms may move in during the late afternoon and early evening.

Storms Could Arrive After 3 P.M.

The best chance for rain comes between roughly 3 and 7 p.m., when isolated to scattered storms could bring brief heavy downpours, frequent lightning and gusty winds.
